Ready. Set. Paddle.

Each canoe program is led by a CNC Guide and offers a beginner-friendly way to try canoeing and experience the Chattahoochee River! Canoe Guides are all CPR/First Aid Certified and are experienced paddlers and naturalists. Don’t worry if you are new to canoeing. CNC provides all equipment, canoe, paddles, and personal flotation device (PFDs), for participants.

River Canoe Trips are suitable for both beginning and advanced paddlers (ages 8 and up), while our popular Family Canoe Days offer an introduction to canoeing (ages 5 and up). Want to find out what you may see out on the ‘Hooch? Book a canoe experience with the button below.

Weekend Guided River Canoe Trips

Come and take a leisurely evening 2.5-hour paddle with our experienced canoe guides while learning all about the environment of the Chattahoochee River. Our trip is a great first-time experience or a fun way to reconnect with the river you already treasure. 

Date Night Canoe Trips

Need a unique way to wrap up the work week? Come relax with us on this adults-only evening paddle. Arrive early, bring your own picnic dinner, and enjoy the grounds before you meet your guides to begin the trip. Ages 21+

Fall Colors and Holiday Canoe Trips

Holidays and the different seasons offer opportunities to experience the Chattahoochee River in unique ways. Check out the calendar for special canoe trips.

Family Canoe Days

If you are just trying out canoeing for the first time, then join us for a Family Canoe Day on one of our ponds. Our Canoe Guides will go over safety protocols and then let you explore.  A great way to get ready for a summer out on the Chattahoochee. The class will last 1 1/2 hours and is suitable for beginner and advanced paddlers (ages 5 and up). Admission to the Chattahoochee Nature Center for the same day is included with registration. 

Private Canoe Excursion

Private canoe excursions are on hold until further notice. Please register for one of CNC’s regularly scheduled river trips or pond canoe experiences.
