Wilderness Inquiry Canoemobile
Chattahoochee Nature Center is partnering with Wilderness Inquiry Canoemobile to provide unique, place-based learning experiences for the community this Fall. We invite you to join us for a special Community Day. The day is yours to explore CNC and experience a short paddle on the Chattahoochee River in unique, 10-person canoes with trained outdoor educators. The experience is great for first-time paddlers and experience alike.
Paddlers will have a fun time learning in the canoes and experience firsthand the ecology, science, history, and geography of the Chattahoochee River in a short, beginner-friendly canoe trip. We will also be supplementing this on-water experience with access to CNC’s 127 acres of forest, wetland, and river habitats.
Who’s Coming: Participants for this program must be 6 years of age and older. All participants must sign a waiver upon arrival. Thanks to community support from National Parks Trust and Smurfit WestRock, there is no cost to participate in the program.
