Join Atlanta-based nature photographer Eric Bowles and CNC canoe guides for a unique workshop to help you take better photographs from a canoe. Whether it be shooting in the morning mist, framing the perfect reflection, or quietly approaching wildlife, you’ll enjoy both the paddling and photography in this course. Also, you’ll capture some great sunrise photos as a bonus.
CNC provides all canoes and canoe equipment, please bring your own photography equipment. A dry bag is recommended for your camera and 1-2 lenses. Paddling experience recommended, but not necessary.
Ages 16+; $65 general public/$55 CNC Members (price per person). Advanced registration required by Thursday, October 17.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received in writing (via email) at least 6 business days prior to your trip date in order to receive a full refund. Cancellations received less than 6 business days prior to trip date are subject to a $10 processing fee per ticket. We are unable to refund cancellations that are received less than 2 business days prior to the trip date. We cannot accommodate late arrivals – if you miss an active trip or do not attend, we are unable to refund your payment.
While every attempt is made to conduct canoe programs, certain situations arise which cause paddling conditions to be unsafe. If CNC deems it necessary to cancel the canoe program due to weather, or any conditions that would compromise the program’s quality or put persons at risk, you will be notified and will receive a full refund. All refunds will be returned to the original form of purchase.
CNC reserves the right to cancel a canoe trip up to the scheduled time due to any of the following:
- Imminent or local lightning or severe weather
- Less than six persons signed up for a program
- Any condition that would put persons at risk
