MEET OUR BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Nick DiLuzio, Chair

Nick DiLuzio is the Vice President of Business Development for Forisk Consulting, a forestry consulting firm focused on applied research related to timber markets, wood bioenergy, and forest operations. Prior to joining Forisk, Nick spect three years leading the Georgia Forestry Foundation and 11 years at NewFields, a boutique environmental consulting and engineering firm. Nick has a B.S. in Biology from Davidson College and Masters degrees in Environmental Management and Forestry from the Nicholas School at Duke University. Nick grew up a few miles from the Chattahoochee Nature Center and first visited when he was four years old. He attended Camp Kingfisher and has run in many Possum Trots. Now, Nick and his wife, Lexie, live in Smyrna and have two children, who love visiting CNC throughout the year, but especially when the fairy houses are out.

 

Charlotte Martin Pugh, Vice Chair

Charlotte Pugh is an Executive Director on EY’s Climate Change and Sustainability Solutions team. She focuses on sustainability strategy, decarbonization and improving environmental, social and governance metrics.  Prior to joining EY, Charlotte almost 20 years at an environmental consulting and engineering firm. Charlotte has a B.S. in Biology from Wake Forest University and Master’s degrees in Environmental Engineering from Georgia Tech. As someone that has been hugging trees personally and professionally her whole life, Charlotte is thrilled to support CNC in helping others connect deeply to our trees and waterways.

Jon McKee, Immediate Past Board President

Jon McKee’s first visit to the Chattahoochee Nature Center was in 1990 and has served on the nature center board for approximately 8 years. Jon is originally from Denver, Colorado and graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor in Business Administration. He is a CPA and was a partner with KPMG-Atlanta in the audit division. After KPGM, Jon became an audit partner at Frazier Deeter. Jon’s love of nature has led him to enjoy spending time hiking, fly fishing and serving as Assistant Scoutmaster with Boy Scout Troop 797 in Marietta. Both of his sons have attended Camp Kingfisher for multiple years and his oldest son is currently working on his Eagle Project at the nature center. Jon will continue his commitment to the nature center and expand his knowledge of the natural world by taking the Master Naturalist course that is offered at the Chattahoochee Nature Center.

 

Lisa Hyde, Treasurer

Lisa Hyde is CPA and Financial Executive. She has an Accounting degree from University of Georgia – Terry College of Business. She has served on the Chattahoochee Nature Center Board of Trustees for almost 15 years and is also a long-standing member of the Board of University of Georgia’s Alumni Association.

 

Todd Dolson, Secretary

Todd Dolson is a Principal and Vice President with SSOE Group, an international engineering and architectural firm. His experience and passion includes creating memorable, impactful, sustainable, and meaningful places and spaces for higher education, museums, civic and corporate clients. He is a licensed architect in 6 states and is active in the American Institute Architects and the Society for College and University Planning. Todd holds a B.S. in Architecture from Georgia Tech where he also studied for a year in Paris. Todd and his wife, Miriam, live in Roswell close to the CNC. Their daughter, Emma, grew up visiting the CNC and has worked at the CNC as a Camp Kingfisher counselor and lifeguard. Todd is deeply engaged with the CNC, serving on various committees and volunteering for numerous activities.
