Schools out and its time to begin your summer adventures. Explore the woodlands and wetlands with a naturalist to see what happens when the sun sets at CNC. Visit with a nocturnal animal and enjoy roasting marshmallows around the campfire!
Tree Climbing

Recreational Tree Climbing is now at CNC! Climbing ropes in trees is great fun for the family. This 2½ hour introductory climb will get you up high in a tree for a new perspective of your favorite nature center. The fee also includes admission to CNC for the day. Teddy Bear Picnic
Sunday, June 10, 1pm, All Ages, Advance Registration Required by June 7th.
Invite your best stuffed friend to a picnic at the Chattahoochee Nature Center. We will play games, hold a Teddy Bear Parade and make new friends during this special day out. Make sure to bring a picnic and blanket.
Pee-Wee Naturalist Summer Series (Ages 3 & 4)

Its summer and a GREAT time to get your little one outside and connected to nature. Join a CNC naturalist and explore nature through animal presentations, art projects, and natural world investigations, including trail walks and interactive activities covering Camouflage Kids, Search the Skies for Butterflies, and Plant Playtime Olympics 2012!

Nature Theatre Workshop: I Speak for The Trees!

Explore the world of Truffula Trees! Join us on a fantastic journey where we'll explore our responsibility to the environment through Dr. Seuss's The Lorax. This workshop will combine nature activities (hikes, games, live animal encounters and discussions) and basic theatre production skills. Participants will use what they learn and apply it to producing and rehearsing a short presentation for family and friends on Friday, August 10 at 12:00 pm. Scholarships available download an application and send in when you register!

Cancellation and Refund PolicyIf a class is cancelled for any reason you will receive a full refund. If you wish to cancel your reservation, please contact our office at least six business days prior to your scheduled program. $10 of your registration fee will be retained by CNC. You will receive confirmation when we receive your cancellation. If you do not receive confirmation within one business day, we have not received your cancellation. No refunds will be given for cancellations made fewer than 6 business days prior to your scheduled program. Refunds will be paid by check, please allow 4 - 6 weeks.
