Description:  The Certified Interpretive Guide program is designed for anyone who delivers or would like to deliver interpretive programs to the public. It combines both the theoretical foundations of the profession with practical skills in delivering quality interpretive programming to visitors. The CIG program offers an opportunity to train facilitators in interpretive techniques and acknowledge that training with an internationally recognized certification. The CIG credential is gaining recognition and respect by tour and cruise companies, parks, zoos, museums, nature centers, and aquariums around the world.  Join in and be part of the growing profession of interpretation.
